Conversion Drop-Off Diagnostics Studio

A working room for people who can already open a funnel and still cannot explain the missing step. You will leave with a leak map and a memo a product manager can put on a Monday agenda.

What you will be able to do

  • Separate a true drop-off from a delayed conversion on Thai payment rails.
  • Segment a dying step by device, locale, acquisition week, and experiment collision.
  • Spot broken event contracts after a redesign without waiting for a quarterly audit.
  • Write a diagnostic memo with suspected cause, disconfirming tests, and what not to A/B yet.
  • Triage a handful of session replays as evidence, not as a horror montage.

Honest limit

This studio does not teach you how to implement Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Firebase from scratch. You should already be able to open your tool and pull a funnel report. We also do not guarantee a conversion lift. Diagnosis is the product; growth hacking is not.

Modules

  1. Symptom versus cause

Stop treating a falling percentage as a narrative. Practice restating the claim until it names a step, an audience, and a time window.

  2. Event contracts after a redesign

How visual changes silently rename or double-fire events. You will rebuild a small dictionary for a checkout that moved from one webview to three.

  3. Time-to-convert, not just drop-off

OTP, PromptPay, and bank approval windows. Learn when “lost” users are simply slow, and how to report that without sounding defensive.

  4. Device, locale, and rails in Thailand

Android version cliffs, bilingual strings, and LINE return paths. A Bangkok funnel that looks healthy can still be broken in Isaan locales.

  5. Replay triage without voyeurism

Sample, tag, and stop. We cap how many recordings you watch so the story does not get written by the loudest rage click.

  6. Experiment collision

When three tests share a step, the drop-off is often the test plan. Guardrails before anyone “just ships a variant.”

  7. Identity and logged-out ghosts

Users who appear to abandon are sometimes the same person on a second device. Join keys, not folklore.

  8. Writing the leak map

One page: steps, segments, evidence, open questions. No mural, no 40-slide appendix.

  9. The Monday memo

Translate the map into a note a PM can schedule: suspected cause, next instrumentation, and explicit non-goals.

  10. Critique of live learner funnels

Bring a redacted export. The room will try to falsify your favourite explanation.

  11. Aftercare desk

A short follow-up window to sanity-check the memo against one new week of data. Not a retainer, not an implementation crew.

Portrait of Kanchana Wongsawat

Kanchana Wongsawat

Kanchana spent nine years inside Bangkok super-app funnels before moving the critique practice to Khon Kaen. She still reads Thai payment rails for a living and refuses to teach “north-star workshops.” Learners describe her notes as short and occasionally uncomfortable.

Informational fee

THB 18,400 per seat for the full studio. Materials and critique included. Travel, vendor licences, and implementation work are not. There is no checkout on this site; request a place and we confirm availability by email.

Corporate desks can book adjacent seats. We still cap the room at eight so critique does not become a town hall.

From past seats

We arrived convinced the KYC selfie step was “too long.” Module four showed the drop lived in the Thai-language error string on a specific Android WebView. Embarrassing, and cheaper than a redesign.

Nok, KYC lead · Bangkok lender

I wanted a cleaner dashboard. Kanchana made us delete half the charts first. The leak map was uglier and more useful.

Questions we actually get

Do I need to be a data scientist?

No. You need comfort reading a funnel, exporting a CSV, and sitting through critique. SQL helps but is not required.

Can our whole growth team join?

Up to eight people, including mixed roles. Beyond that the room becomes a presentation. Consider Desk-side Residency on the fees page if you need a private team format.

Will you fix our tracking during class?

No. We will show you where the contract is broken. Implementation stays with your engineers. That limit is intentional; otherwise every studio collapses into a ticket queue.

Is the fee refundable?

See the refund policy for timeframes and exceptions. Informational pricing here is not a checkout.
